New SSRN working paper on the impact of broadband internet on within-firm employment structures

Patrick Maier has published a joint article with Antonio Vinícius Barbosa, Dieison Casagrande, and Giuseppe Trevisan as an SSRN working paper.

The article makes use of a natural experiment to causally evaluate the impact of broadband internet on within-firm employment structures and, among other results, finds that the relative importance of managers increases.
