The Career Service of Tuebingen University offers consultation and coaching for graduates that are about to enter the German labor market. The consultation is also available in English.
For students, doctoral candidates and graduates the service is free of charge. If you are interested please contact:

The University's computer center provides support with all IT-related questions. Having trouble with your workplace computer? Questions about your university card or university email address? Just contact their support team at the email address or phone number given on their homepage.
The Welcome Center of Tuebingen University is exclusively offering support for all non-academic issues of your research stay. Funding of research stays at our university is unfortunately not included.

- The departement for Reasearch Funding offers a generell overview.
- Under the category of Research Funding News you will get information about specialist calls for applications for special funding programms of organizations and companies.
- Additionnally, you can find an overview over further sources of information on funding with a list of information and contact details of numerous foundations, organizations, clubs, associations and companies.
- The Calls for Proposals within the Institutional Strategy inform you about further international possibilities for grants for researcher, doctorals and students.
- The Graduate Academy is aimed specifically at PhD students and postdocs. It is the umbrella institution of the graduate programms of the faculties.

The Gender Equality Office of Tuebingen University provides you with information and advice on the broad issues of equal opportunities for men and women in studies and academia. In addition, the staff of the Gender Equality Office offers advice if you experience sexual harrassment.
The Graduate Academy provides general advice tailored to PhD students and postdocs as well as courses to gain interdisciplinary qualifications (in German and English) and opportunities to network with other researchers.
The Fachsprachenzentrum (Language Learning Center) offers language courses in eight languages (Catalan, English, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian, Swedish and Spanish) from beginner to advanced levels for students of all faculties as well as other groups. Students can join the classes for free, employees and scholarship holders need to pay a small fee.
Inside the University Library (UB), the "room of silence" offers an opportunity for prayer, meditation, or simply a moment of calm.

The main university library (UB) offers a large collection of books, journals and manuscripts. In addition, there are several computer rooms to access the internet or write papers, and small rooms for group work can also be booked.
Everybody can freely enter the library and read books or newspapers; for borrowing books or ordering , you will need a student ID, employee ID or a university card. If you are not a student or employee, the Welcome Center will be glad to order a university card for you - just contact us.
Do you enjoy doing sports? The University of Tuebingen’s sports department offers a wide variety of sports from aerobics to Zumba at low prices to students, employees and other residents of the Tuebingen area. More information is available on the homepage of the sports department.
