Interview with Cluster member Peter Dayan

Peter Dayan is one of the world's leading experts in the field of theoretical and experimental neuroscience. In an interview, Dayan now describes, amongst other things, his fascination with this field of research and how he has settled in Tübingen.

Dayan, 54, is Director of the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tübingen and holds a Humboldt Professorship, the most valuable research award in Germany, in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Tübingen. He is also a member of our Cluster of Excellence "Machine Learning". He has long been working on issues at the interface of neuroscience, medicine and machine learning and is also considered a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence.
