Staff members

The "Ethics and Philosophy" Lab initially starts with three fellows: Dr. Thomas Grote focuses on issues of responsibility distribution in algorithmic decision making and research ethics. Dr. Thilo Hagendorff will deal with aspects on the ethics of machine learning with special social relevance. Dr. Eric Raidl will study the epistemology and logic of machine learning in science looking in particular at how knowledge (or belief) represented in ML systems is revised e.g. in the light of new evidence.
