In February 2020, a panel of experts selected 10 projects from Freiburg, Heidelberg, Mannheim, Stuttgart and Tübingen for the research programme "Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI)" of the Baden-Württemberg Stiftung. Among them was our project "Artificial Intelligence, Trustworthiness and Explainability (AITE)”. AITE was a joint project of our "Ethics and Philosophy Lab" and the "International Centre for Ethics in the Sciences and Humanities" (IZEW) at the University of Tübingen.
The project started in fall 2020 and ran for 3 years. Project leader was PD Dr. Eric Raidl.
