Associate Membership

Associate membership is open not only for PhD candidates but for all faculty members and postdocs of the University of Tübingen. New associate members will begin their association as of the start of the summer or winter semester and will participate in the following retreat. Details on how to apply can be found below.

For prospective faculty members and postdocs:

Applicants should forward a letter of motivation (1,5 pages maximum) and their CV to leadspam prevention@uni-tuebingen.de.

For prospective PhD candidates:

PhD candidates meeting the following four criteria are encouraged to apply:

LEAD welcomes students who are engaged in other existing doctoral programs (as long as their time budget allows). Doctoral candidates in regular staff positions will be eligible only if their other obligations leave enough room for high-quality dissertations within the framework of the LEAD Graduate School & Research Network.

PhD candidate applications should include an application cover sheet, a CV, certificates (incl. high school diploma), a research proposal (exposé), and a letter of motivation describing the reasons for the application. Applicants should send their application electronically in a single pdf attachment to leadspam prevention@uni-tuebingen.de.
