Research Interest

My research interests focus on the development of scientific reasoning skills, increasing motivation and improving learning of students. In my PhD project, which is part of the Leibniz-WissenschaftsCampus Tübingen, we combine different learning methods to enhance learning effects and to train scientific reasoning skills of students. I am interested in finding out which learning environment works best for the students and how we can combine different environments to simplify student’s knowledge transfer in daily life. To do so, we combine didactical and psychological knowledge in my PhD project.

LEAD offers the chance to exchange experience with multiple researchers, who are working on a similar topic. Therefore, my research can be further improved and I can get feedback on my current work, as well as ideas for future studies.
