Competence Network "lernen:digital" launched
Network fosters dialogue of science and practice
The competence network "lernen:digital", in which several LEAD members are involved, has officially started. The network shapes the dialogue between science and practice for the digital transformation of schools and teacher education. Four competence centers bring together the expertise from around 180 cross-national research and development projects in the areas of STEM, language/society/economics, music/arts/sports, and school development. The projects produce evidence-based training and continuing education, materials, and concepts for school and classroom development in a culture of digitality. A transfer office makes the results visible to teachers, promotes co-constructive further development with practitioners, and supports nationwide transfer to teacher training. The network is funded by the European Union - NextGenerationEU and supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
