Since October 2020, Dr Charley Wu has been Head of the Independent Research Group ‘Human and Machine Cognition’, which is based at both the Cluster of Excellence ‘Machine Learning’ and the  Tübingen AI Center.

In addition to his new position, Dr Wu has also received 2 million euro LOEWE Start Professorship grant. LOEWE is the excellence programme of the State of Hesse for the promotion of top-level research (to the press release).

The location of Tübingen is thus losing an outstanding researcher. The LEAD network congratulates him on this important career move and wishes him every success in his new position.
