CIVIS Hub 2 “Society, Culture, Heritage” will address the various challenges that arise with the global effort of cultural preservation. Connecting experts from multiple disciplines, focal points of the discussion may range from issues as foundational as the definition of cultural heritage, interpretive sovereignty and the handling of property, to the ever-current threats of othering, cultural separatism and gatekeeping.
