COVID-19 vaccinations offered at the University
Circular to all employees and students
Dear students and colleagues,
The University of Tübingen would like to draw your attention to the following opportunities for COVID-19 vaccinations:
The Mobiles Impfteam Tübingen offers appointments at the pop-up vaccination site at “Alte Universitäts-Apotheke” (Röntgenweg 9) as well as at other pop-up vaccination sites in the region. Until further notice, you can get first, second and booster vaccinations here – with an appointment and no waiting. Appointments can be booked via https://www.bit.ly/impf-ort. This service is open to all interested parties. Info on the pop-up vaccination site: https://www.medizin.uni-tuebingen.de/de/pop-up-impforte
For university employees, the University Medical Service (Wilhelmstraße 27) will be conducting both initial and booster vaccinations free of charge, by appointment, until December 17. This service is aimed at students and employees of the University of Tübingen as well as visiting researchers, lecturers and scholarship holders.
Please book your appointment for COVID-19 vaccination via the following website: https://termin.samedi.de/b/universitatsklinikum-tubingen-institut-fur-arbeitsmedizin-sozialmedizin-und-versorgungsforschung/ (select COVID-19-Impfung).
At the University Medical Service, the mRNA vaccine made by BioNTech/Pfizer (Comirnaty) is used, in each case in accordance with current recommendations by the standing committee on vaccinations, and/or statements by the Paul Ehrlich Institute on vaccinations approved in Germany. You will receive a detailed explanation of the vaccine with your appointment confirmation e-mail. Please bring the following documents with you to the appointment: Vaccination card, ID card and the fully completed documents that you will receive by e-mail with the appointment confirmation.
Please note the new access regulations due to the Coronavirus alarm level – you must show proof of vaccination, recovery from Covid-19, or a negative antigen test when visiting the University Medical Service. This also applies to those who have not yet been fully vaccinated. An antigen test valid for 24 hours is sufficient as proof of testing. Unfortunately, antigen tests cannot be offered on site.
Note for employees: The time spent getting a COVID-19 vaccination appointment at the University Medical Service on Wilhelmstrasse or at the Alte Universitätsapotheke location on Röntgenweg can be claimed as working time.
