Our paper "Scanpath Classification with an n-mer Deep Neural Network Architecture" (Wolfgang Fuhl, Susanne Zabel, Kay Nieselt) has been accepted as a short paper at the ETRA 2025 conference. In this work, we introduce a novel neural network architecture designed for classifying sequence data. We demonstrate its versatility across multiple classification tasks from diverse fields, including scanpath classification in eye-tracking and taxonomic classification of DNA sequences in bioinformatics.
