Research Interests
My research focuses on electron transfer (redox) processes that affect contemporary environmental problems such as environmental pollution and climate change. The redox biogeochemistry of iron (Fe) and carbon (C) are of special interest to me as these two elemental cycles control the fate of organic and inorganic contaminants and affect the release of greenhouse gases. I use techniques ranging from the molecular to field scale to investigate these processes.
