Research Interests

- Upper plate deformation at subduction margins and its links to plate interface processes.

- Tectonics from geomorphology of drainage basins.

- Quantitative geomorphology from geochronology of past and present-day sediments.

Research Projects

- Vegetation control on log-term to short-term lanscape evolution from thermochronology and remote sensing. Phase 2 of the DFG SPP Earthshape (https://esdynamics.geo.uni-tuebingen.de/earthshape/index.php?id=145)

- The influence of subduction zone concavity on coastal uplift, erosion and seismicity.
