The aim of my study is to understand how the volatile evolution of the Earth is affected by the core-mantle differentiation and late accretion processes. The volatile chalcogen elements, Se and Te, can be useful geochemical tracers. I mainly look at the Se-Te concentrations and Se stable isotope systematics of MORBs and OIBs in order to properly estimate the mantle budget of these elements, thereby providing further constraints on the composition of the late veneer.
