Jan Lause gets SMARTSTART funding
He will participate in this program after completion of his MSc thesis in autumn 2018.
- SMARTSTART 2 addresses students, who have already aquired their Masters' degree and are planning a doctorate at program start (the SMARTSTART year starts with the Kickoff Meeting prior to the Bernstein Conference and lasts until the Bernstein Conference of the following year)
- one year fully funded pre-PhD position
- collaborative project between two labs including exchange visits (e.g. between an experimental and a theoretical lab)
- voluntary attendance of lectures and courses offered by participating institutions
His SMARTSTART mentors will be Philipp Berens, Thomas Euler and Felix Wichmann.
