From inside the WSI, a small web application is available, that enables ZBIT users to create temporary FTP accounts. It is pretty self-explanatory. Just log in with your WSI account, select an account lifetime from 3 to 48 hours, and have the account created for you.
After account lifetime has exceeded, account and data will automatically be removed. Accounts can be used for FTP only. If an external party has uploaded data, you have to fetch it via FTP yourself, using the same login information.
To prevent abuse, a notification email will be sent to system administration on every creation of a new account. Furthermore, FTP accounts can not be used for SSH login, as they are not allowed shell access.
