flexible, but as early as July 1, 2020

Duration

3 years, including an initial six-months probationary period

Salary

At the E13 level in accordance to the guidelines of the University of Tübingen and will dependent on previous experience and qualifications.

Project Description: Understanding Cell Differentiation at the Single Cell level

The project seeks to understand the process of differentiation. Through the use of high throughput single cell RNAseq and ATACseq approaches, it will dissect the progressive changes that cells in the root and shoot of Arabidopsis undergo during their transition from stem cell through differentiation. The candidate will be working in a team and in an international environment.

Requirement

Experience in analyses of next-generation sequencing and/or transcriptomic data, R (R studio), python and statistical analyses is required. Familiarity with wet-bench approaches such as library preparation and basic molecular techniques will be beneficial.
