Sarrah Kassem

Kurze Biographie

Sarrah Kassem ist seit Juni 2020 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Arbeitsbereich Politik und Wirtschaft/Politische Ökonomie tätig. Sie hat im Juni 2020 ihre Promotion unter der Betreuung von Professor Hans-Jürgen Bieling und Professor Thorsten Schulten zum Thema Entfremdung und Agency in der Platform Economy abgeschlossen. Ihren Bachelor and Master of Arts in Politikwissenschaft absolvierte sie an der American University in Cairo. Während ihres Bachelors besuchte sie die Freie Universität in Berlin für ein Semester und im Master die Universität Tübingen im Rahmen des CMEPS Austauschprogramms. Ihre derzeitigen Forschungsinteressen bestehen in Fragen der Arbeitsverhältnisse, Arbeitsbedingungen, der Selbstorganisation von Arbeiter(nehmer)Innen und den intersektionalen Dimensionen der ArbeiterInnenbewegung.
