Title Taking advice and leveraging complementary assets – how start-ups benefit from corporate venture capital
Financing Institutional Strategy of the University of Tübingen (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft)
Description We provide unique CVC evidence by analyzing the two major columns of CVC value enhancing activities: complementary assets (hard capital) and knowledge transfer/advice (soft capital). Specifically, we look at the use and leverage of complementary assets by the start-up, and, second, the taking of advice by the founder team.
