Dr. Heike Russ wins GEBF26 Early Career Publication Award (Nachwuchspublikationspreis)

DFG Research group LASTING LEARNING joins Dr. Heike Russ in celebrating her GEBF26 Early Career Publication Award at the 13th congress of GEBF (Gesellschaft für Empirische Bildungsforschung) in Munich.

Congratulations to Dr. Heike Russ, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Tübingen’s Institute of Education, for winning the GEBF26 Early Career Publication Award (Nachwuchspublikationspreis). 
The award recognizes outstanding early career research and highlights important insights into how instructional design can support students’ conceptual understanding in science learning in authentic classroom settings. The award celebrates her research, recently published in the Journal of Educational Psychology, titled “Combining Non-Interactive Teaching and Drawing Fosters Conceptual Knowledge but not Monitoring Accuracy from Guided Inquiry in Science Learning.”
The study was conducted as part of the DFG Research Unit "Lasting Learning" (FOR5254).
