Tübingen-South Africa Program 2008

Guided Tour to Tübingen 2008

On 3-01-2008 a group of 23 South African students visited the town of Tübingen. Tübingen is a university not a town because of so many university buildings that you find in town. The town is an unusual place with a nice, warm, friendly and great atmosphere. Tübingen is very old but one cannot tell unless he or she is told. The town has an interesting history. It also has an extraordinarily charming and varying landscape and a paradise of leisure activities. Tübingen has extravagant shops and exquisite restaurants. Tübingen compared to a town in South Africa is an incredible place. Tübingen has everything in town not like in South Africa were you have to walk distances to get what you want. What I like most about Tübingen is that there is no traffic that can hold you back if you want to get to another place.Oh, my gosh! The transport that they have it's out of this world. The buses they have are so nice in such a way that they will make you go to town just for a stroll. Tübingen buses are totally different from the ones we have in South Africa. I really enjoy walking to town and exploring the things that they have and the history of the town. To me it was a learning curve and an opportunity to experience the life of Tübingen.

I ENJOY IT.
