Poem: "Moments in Time" by Hlengiwe Ndlovu

I scribble these words still amazed at the experience that has come into being.
A time that has been like no other and has begun to shape a different me.
I've lived within extraordinary moment created by stories that are untold by masses but are lived be the select.
I have been lavished with wonderful gifts in the form of life lesson that have come into being within these moments.
These occurrences have become a way of life within the sparse amount of time I have in this place.

I wake up to the cooling chill of mountains, streets and trees that are blanketed in a cool white. I sing praise to the silent voices and the ogling eyes of the locals. Off course they cannot begin to comprehend my thunderous voice and vibratious laugh. I exist as an outsider inside this beautiful world.

I live in these moments as an individual but also as an image of African beauty.
I am not poetic hence I do not have the right words to express the utter joy that is brought to life by every encounter. This is just a piece of what the soul has come to endure in this endeavour…
I am humbled by the mesmerizing beauty called Tübingen.
