Tübingen South Africa Program 2011

Tübingen is...

… a place to discover yourself and your culture.
Hannes

… a place to be, the most wonderful in terms of the best area for study and sightseeing within the vicinity of a university.
Ahmad

… mind-blowing, life changing and soul-shifting. I found friends, information, insight and love. Barbara is my hero.
Mooi

… schön, peace and safe. If I were to stay in Germany I would definitely stay in Tübingen.
Winile

… a place of knowledge, a breeze, a melting pot of diverse cultures, I love it. Ich liebe Tübingen.
Sanele

… one of the good places I've ever been that left an unforgettable memory in my life.
Clementinah

… the small heaven for me because it has opened my eyes. More things are now very clear for me.
Constance

… an extraordinary city with amazing scenery that I will always remember.
Daphanie

… the place to be, just great.
Nwabisa

… a magical but cold place with the most beautiful and friendly people. It is a reserved town with its people wearing their pride and culture/heritage on their sleeves (LOVELY).
Matseba

… a unique and amazing town halfway across the world from South Africa.
Bronwyn

… like home away from home, only in another language and with the best pastries and coffee.
Caro

… the most academically powerful place I've ever been to. Tübingen is also uplifting and very small which enables the society to have a powerful influence on one's world view and it also has an encouraging feel, the positive drive works wonders. You really feel that you are going somewhere in life. It is re-assuring. Phew!!
Charlotte

… a little place that I would not forget because of all the experiences and life-changing moments - oh, it is cold!
Lourens

… a wonderful place filled with so much history and beautiful architecture. They have a wide variety of study opportunity for students of any kind.
Githa

… cold but beautiful and ancient. It is a relatively quiet place with strange birds and sometimes snow. Filled with people who seem "unhappy" (if I can say that) at first, but once they warm up to you they are very friendly and helpful.
Elzaan

…very cold, a lovely place to visit, the shopping is great, I'm meeting very interesting people. The seminars are very eye-opening and for the first time in my life I can imagine myself doing my PhD in another country.
Mapelo

… the place to be, very different from my home town - "university town.
Sne

… a very cold place in terms of weather. It is also a nice place to explore. It can also be a very lonely place sometimes especially when one is in his/her room. Most interesting is that it is a wealthy place.
Thulile

… a typical university town where everything is nearby and it has everything we need to experience Southern Germany.
