LEAD Graduate School & Research Network

Wy Ming Lin, M.Sc.

I am a PhD candidate at the Hector Research Institute for Education Science and Psychology at the University of Tübingen. My project will focus on how mental health issues and their implications on motivation and emotion impact our ability to achieve our goals. Some of my interests revolve around self-regulation and self-regulated learning as well as educational psychology.

With my research background outside of the education sciences, I am particularly excited for the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with my peers at the LEAD Graduate School, who have already challenged the way I approached applied research. I plan on using the opportunities provided by LEAD to engage in the topic of self-regulation, especially self-regulated learning, while offering my knowledge in psychiatric and mental health research.
