New video on soil description and soil classification
Peter Schad and Chris Just from the Technical University of Munich (Germany) made a new video on Soil Description and Soil Classification. It uses the 4th edition of the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB). The description is according to the new WRB Field Guide (Annex 1 of the WRB Manual - replacing for WRB the FAO Guidelines for Soil Description, 2006) and the classification considers the new WRB edition. During COVID, we produced some videos in German: the description according to the German field handbook and the classification according to the German national soil classification and, in English and Spanish, according to the FAO Guidelines for Soil Description (2006) and the 3rd edition of the WRB (2015).
