Fields of Interest
I am a research scientist within the Archaeometry Research Group of the University of Tübingen and an active member of the Archaeomaterials Research Network (AMRN, University College London). Archaeomaterials are my primary fields of research, with an emphasis on ceramic and the multifaceted interactions between resources, technology, and society. My teaching covers different aspects of archaeological science and theory and I am leading a series of courses on material science and archaeological ceramics.
