Dr. Johanna Roering recently came back to teach in Tübingen after five years of working as an IT-Consultant. In her PhD at the University of Tübingen she focused on media representations of war. She published the book Soldatische Kriegsberichterstattung in digitalen Medien in 2012. Her research focus has shifted in the last years to working on Dance Studies, embodiment, and social justice. Johanna Roering has extensive teaching experience at the University of Tübingen, the Humboldt University in Berlin and the University of Maryland. She lives in Berlin.
