Forschungsschwerpunkte

AOS: Ethics, in particular: meta-ethics, moral psychology, applied ethics (animal, environmental, and bioethics).
AOC: Feminist philosophy; philosophy of literature; philosophy of religion; history of philosophy; ancient philosophy (Greek, Roman and Indian); philosophy of language; philosophy of translation.

Research profile:
My work covers different areas of moral philosophy, from meta-ethics (moral realism, moral possibility) and moral psychology (moral perception, moral motivation, im-partiality, attention, trust) to the practical applications of these questions, particularly in animal ethics, environmental ethics, and bioethics. I have scholarly expertise in the work of Iris Murdoch and Simone Weil.
