International Workshop: 

Literatures and Cultures of Homes in the Making

12 - 14 December, University of Tübingen

Organized by The Center for Gender and Diversity Research (ZGD) and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Global South Studies (ICGSS) at the University of Tübingen and the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Alexandria University.

This workshop will bring together researchers of different levels and specialisations from the University of Tübingen and Alexandria University to exchange views and ideas about the notion of ‘home’ as both a concept and a practice in an attempt to reflect on prominent issues relating to immigration and the displacement of peoples which are – today more than ever – of utmost concern. (see call for applications).

 

2019 G-PAD Forum

The event is geared towards exploring the opportunities in the trade policy objective of the new Africa Policy
and a follow-up action to the G-PAD 2019 keynote presentation by the German Federal Foreign Office.
