First Research Retreat of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences

Upon invitation of the deans, Taiga Brahm and Dominik Papies, a research retreat for the entire Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences was held in October 2025. The intention of this retreat was to connect the Faculty’s professors and to foster interdisciplinary (research) collaboration. During the retreat, Prof. Dr. Anna Gumpert and Prof. Dr. Kou Murayama provided important insights into their own interdisciplinary research. Throughout the retreat, all professors were able to exchange ideas on major research topics, connecting their respective research topics and disciplines with one another. This retreat opened the possibility for interdisciplinary large-scale projects and joint research proposals.
