The Department of Philosophy at the University of Tübingen invites applications for the following full-time position, to begin October 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter:

Assistant Professor (m/f/d, Grade A13, for 3+3 years) / Akademische/r Rätin/Rat (m/w/d, A13, auf Zeit)

The position is initially limited to three years and may be extended for another three years. 

We seek a junior candidate with a strong research profile in contemporary metaphysics or philosophy of physics or philosophy of mind. 

The candidate must be prepared to teach two courses (introductory or advanced) per semester (4 hours per week) in various areas of theoretical philosophy. The courses may be taught in German or English.
