PhD student position / Doctoral candidate / Research Assistant (m/f/d, 65%, E13 TV-L)

The position is available from 1 October 2019 (or later) and limited to 30 June 2023.

Project C05 strives to reconstruct a ‘different’ aesthetics of collaborative authorship in Early Modern English literature. Instead of dissolving extant texts into a sum of fragments by single authors, C05 asks about specific practices, functions and the added value of collaborative processes and methods of text (and book) production. We will not only address co-authored works and their conditions of production but will also investigate reflections on the conceptual dimension of co-creativity as they can be found in the texts themselves, e.g. in the metaphor of collaboratively weaving a fabric.
