About the Workshop: This workshop will give participants tools to add wellbeing components to their classrooms and syllabi. We will have a discussion about self-care for instructors and how the concept can also be extended to students. Themes will include: setting boundaries, time management, syllabi tweaks, and care as a core pedagogical value. With burnout on the rise, it is important we add in care as a guidepost in the academy. This workshop aims at individual practices instructors can take but also opens up discussion around what larger, structural changes higher education as a whole needs to consider. The workshop will consist of a 1 hour workshop and a following Q&A session. The workshop language is English.

Organizers: The workshop is organized by the Alumni Office of the University of Tübingen in cooperation with the Graduate Academy.
