Using the Library

For technical reasons, our holdings are marked in the catalogue as "local use only" or "on-site use". However, the majority of our holdings can be borrowed. Excluded from lending are holdings in the stacks, journals and books with pink-coloured shelfmarks.

Books from course reserves can only be borrowed over the weekend.

There are no fees, however, if items are regularly returned late you may be barred from borrowing further items.

Only students or staff of the University of Tübingen may borrow items from the library.
