Insights from the Nobel Laureate Meeting 2023

Every year around 600 excellent young researchers from all over the world have the possibility to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. This year three researchers from our „Machine Learning“ Cluster were selected to participate: Michael Deistler, Almut Sophia Koepke and Albane Ruaud.

Postdoctoral researcher Albane shared her impressions of this nearly one week long scientific meeting with us. In the interview she speaks about talks that inspired her, how a comment about antimale discrimination by a Nobel laureate aroused many discussions (article in Science) in the community and about the importance of diversity in science.
