Tübingen-South Africa Program 2003

What an experience (January 2003)

Last year it was a dream but now it is memory (talk about intangibility). I am very proud to point out that this programme has immensly helped me intellectually, spiritualy and mostly interculturaly. Not to mention the knowledge acquired from the programme. The friends I have made, made me ask where those had been all my life. An excellent group leader, a group with no blacks, reds or whites, but South Africans. If I could I would put my eyes in front of you so you can see how deep this programmehas gone. This experience will shape the future of many. I now see the world differently and understand the many facets of life. Tübingen will always be a part of us, mainly because of Barbara, Marion, Christof and Stephan who went out of their why ensuring that we had a pleasant stay. It would be of negligance for me not to thank our sponsorss DaimlerChrysler, Hewlett Packard, CHT and the University of Tübingen. Tübingen has made me to realise my worth and potential. From now on my motto in life is ATTEMPTO. The rewards we keep from this programme will forever be evident in our lives. One bad thing about this programme was that it inevitably had to end, besides Renee leaving before the end. As the saying goes “good things come to an end”, so I put an end to this note.
Barbara, Marion, Christof and Stephan please do the same or more for the upcoming groups. I love you guys.
