Tübingen-South Africa Program 2003

Germany's Geography (09/01/03)

The class was so interesting to us, because we were willing to know the climate of Germany as such. We have never experienced such low temperatures like here in Germany. It was also interesting to know that Germany is in the center of Europe and a smaller country than South Africa, but it has 16 states which we don’t have in South Africa. And also each state has its capital city.
In this class we also had a chance of studying the map of Europe and find out the states’ names and their capital cities. We were also given a chance to show what do we think or how do we picture Germany. We did this by cutting pictures from catalogues and making some drawing. It was so fantastic to learn geography with Silvia Kunze-Ritter. We are know in position to have an idea of where is Germany located in the world and also temperatures and seasons.
