German Geography (05/01/2007)

In Germany the climate is absolutely different from South Africa. The snow is adventurous to us as South Africans, since we are not exposed to it back home. The green fields, hills and the mountains of Germany make it more enjoyable during tours. It is the land where rivers flow through cities. The beauty of the Neckar River in Tübingen brings the deep feeling of love for nature and smooth flow, daily freshness in life taking away sorrows, bringing joy to people. The settlement of people, houses and town buildings are very lovely, especially in Tübingen, they reveal to the generations how ancient life used to be. It’s not an easy task to express the beauty of Germany.
One of the geographic features that really fascinated me is the forestry that has tall trees, totally unique, strong and good for hiking and also the fact that there are no snakes in Germany! There is less fear and there is so much freedom in the wilderness! I really love the geographical physical features it looks natural and it makes the trip unforgettable. I appreciate the cleanness of the environment and the beautiful public parks with statues of German poets (which are often seen in German cities or towns). I could see that Germans respect their place, people and historical heroes; they acknowledge the existence of their poets and heroes, and the role they played in the country.
The trip revealed to me that God’s power for creation is unquenchable, amazing and totally “wunderbar”!
