TÜBINGEN IS …

...a place to be born, learn, live and make history, a home town and play ground of history makers and intellectuals.
Sifiso Sibeko

...home away from home, it’s basically the rose that sprung from a crack on the concrete floor.
Mvelo Sosibo

...a place where past and present merge in styleful elegant architecture that creates a sense of well-being and wisdom.
Hendrick Steyn

...all about adventure. It is almost like utopia (well expect the shops closing on Sundays), it is about the impossible becoming possible. I have enjoyed myself and hope to come back here again (someday).
Brian Khumalo

...the most beautiful, clean, fairy tale like place, I’ve ever seen.
It should be 1 of the 7 wonders of the world.
Judy Latell

...like my home away from home. It has taught me about myself and about others; a university town that excels in teaching its students how to live each moment to its full potential.
Anisa Collins

...one of the places that make u feel at home. It is surrounded by lots of castles which make it more special. You can do whatever you like and whenever you want to but it is very cold compared to where I come from.
Boitumelo Mkhondo

...a dream come true! A truly amazing European experience :-)

Ntokozo Vilakazi

...wonderful, exciting, inspiring, full of love and passionate people who are willing to embrace foreigners and make us feel at home and encourage us to return.
Marsha van der Schyff

...delightful! The cold winter air is refreshing as us loud and inquisitive South Africans turn heads as we explore the cobbled lanes of the old Stadt! Tübingen as a town and university is an awesome experience!
Nadia Padayachi

...one of the greatest and oldest towns of Germany. As an outsider, I found it to be a remarkable city especially its own buildings which reflect German history. But most interestingly to me have been the inhabitants who are in my view a direct opposite of what I am used to in terms of personal relations.
Melikhaya Pikini

...one of the cities in the world where you can find the best dental facilities. It will be a dream come true if I can own a practise like the one I saw in this city.
Winniefred Ramaltswa

...a foreign student’s paradise. A place of study, a place of friendship and the students of this town know one definition of having a great time.
Xolisa Phillip

...a modern city/town with vibrant atmosphere and people. It is always fascinating to go to town because of the architecture, structure and history which bring many questions about the building and always receive interesting answers from the concerned persons. It’s really interesting! It’s a small paradise indeed.
Siphindile Ndlovu

...inspired fairytales! It’s wonderful.
Theuns de Jager

...a wonderful old city with beautiful architecture, nature and rich history. It’s the ingredients to make Tübingen an extraordinary experience.
Elinda Viljoen

...for me a quaint university town which can be enjoyed by all. For me I have loved catching the bus each day to class meeting new people each time. I have enjoyed living here for these few weeks and appreciate this experience, especially the shopping! Ich liebe Tübingen.
Kelly Campbell

...a place that became my home from 2nd of January 2007 to 28th January 2007. It is calm, awesome, overwhelming. In so many words, it is BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Marcia Monama

...a beautiful and peaceful place where one can gaze over the river and defeat life’s challenges in one’s mind.
Patrick Grogan

...a place with the most affable ambiance which corresponds with its occupants.MaturityAdvancement
Liberty and a sense of belonging is definitely guaranteed depending on the attitude one reflects toward the town. If it were to be renamed I’m sure it would be called “Home Town” because when you get to the place you become part of the place and it becomes part of you.
Nonkululeko Dludlu

...a multicultural fountain that flows and brings comforting thoughts to its inhabitants.
Bandile Seleme

...a town that has graciously hosted two of the most memorable experiences of my life. It’s wunderbar. Vielen Dank Barbara, Marion, Stephan and all others involved.
Anwyn Davidse

...an exceptional meeting ground for cultures & faces of the world, an experience that fills your soul.
Marius Kieck
