“TÜBINGEN DOES NOT HAVE A UNIVERSITY, TÜBINGEN IS A UNIVERSITY”
BRIEFLY ABOUT THE TOWN
On the 3rd of January 2007, a group of 23 South African Students visited the Tübingen town. Tübingen town is a town with an unusual but most interesting atmosphere. The town has a big irony in the sense that it is very old but one cannot tell, unless one is told that the town was “built 500 years ago”. The buildings look as if they were built only a year ago. The history of the buildings is so rich that without seeing the town, one will think that it is a big town whereas it is just a small town -- but with so much interesting history.
HOW I SEE THE TOWN…………
As compared to the town that I am used to in South Africa, I found Tübingen town irresistible to visit. It is highly possible to get everything in town without going somewhere else, the post is in town, the city hall is in town, and the churches are in town (in the middle of the town.). The way in which the town was built is also provoking, because when strolling in town people walk on the cobblestones and not on the tar road that I am used to and many questions arise when you are in town.

TRANSPORT IN TOWN……………
My!!! My!!!....... In Germany even if you do not want to go to town, you would because of the buses that are so interesting to travel with. Where on earth will you find buses talking, buses with electronic doors? I fully enjoyed travelling by bus. On Sunday, in Germany shops are all closed but we used to take the bus to town not knowing what to do and why we were going but it was because of the buses 2,3,4,5,6, that took us to town and back home to AHORNWEG.
It is one of the opportunities that any living creature would not want to miss!!!

I ENJOYED EVERYTHING TO MY FULLEST IN GERMANY
