Her work includes designing and conducting thermolytic lab experiments as well as identifying and quantifying known and unknown PFAS and their transformation products in contaminated soils.

Miriam is a PhD student working on the identification of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in urban water systems such as urban river water and sediments, rain water and surface runoff. Her work includes the estimation of input, accumulation and emission of PFAS and their transformation products in urban infrastructures.
