Our department is clearly research driven and our prime objective is to generate timely, conceptually innovative, managerially relevant and internationally recognized research in the area of International Business. We only do work that excites us and that we believe can have an impact on academia and the corporate world.
With regards to our research projects we cooperate frequently within the Department but we also collaborate with colleagues from many different research backgrounds and institutions around the world.
In our research we enjoy spanning boundaries and investigating topics that are of relevance to several sub-disciplines of International Business and beyond. However, we reject the idea of addressing a large variety of unrelated research topics within International Business, thus becoming jack of all trades and master in none. Instead, we focus our research efforts on few, but in our view important research areas. In those areas we strive to conduct innovative and creative research and challenge commonly held beliefs.
