Prerequisites | Knowledge of mathematical methods for economic analysis. It is strongly recommended to attend the refresher courses E457 Principles of Game Theory (course blocked over the first two weeks of the semester) and S414 Advanced Mathematical Methods (block seminar prior to the start of the semester). | |

Course Versions
This course can be taken in two different versions.
The version E450a consists only of the lecture. Students may visit the lecture and the tutorial (no compulsory attendance) and have to hand in the four obligatory assignments (in groups). The number of ECTS in this version amounts to 6. There is no application procedure for E450a. This version is not eligible for students of the Master program Management & Economics.
The version E450b additionally includes a colloquium (obligatory attendance). Students may visit the lecture and the tutorial (no compulsory attendance); they have to hand in (in groups) the four obligatory assignments, to visit each session of the colloquium and give a presentation in the colloquium. The number of ECTS in this version amounts to 9. There is an online registration procedure for E450b (see below). This version is compulsory for students of the Master program Management & Economics.
