Nanotechnology, Materials, Biotechnology and Production Techniques

Description:

Research and Innovation to strengthen Europe's industrial capacities and business perspectives.

The focus of NMBP lies in the research and development of industry-relevant key technologies. Consequently the work program has high application relevance. It is divided into the areas relating to the foundations for the industry of tomorrow, its transformation and sustainability. In order to lay these foundations there are tenders for testing open innovation, aspects of Materials Research and Modeling, but also the handling and science-based assessment of risks and the resulting regulations. The transformation section deals with various aspects of the companies of tomorrow (Factories of the Future) and topics of biotechnology and medical technology. Sustainability is about process optimization, circular economy, clean energy through novel materials, respect for cultural heritage and building efficiency.

Funding schemes:

  • Research and Innovation Action (RIA)
  • Innovation Action (IA)
