The CIVIS Alliance of eleven European universities provides a productive environment for achieving the goals of Global Awareness. Within this framework, students develop their intercultural competencies and problem-solving skills, as well as practice international collaborations on an equal footing.

CIVIS Micro-Program Global Awareness
This program offers online and on-site courses designed and instructed by three universities: University of Tübingen (Germany), University of Bucharest (Romania) and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain). It offers an additional qualification of 15 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) for Bachelor students from all field of study and degrees, creditable in the area of key qualifications for the students at the University of Tübingen.
Blended Intensive Programs (BIP)
BIP combines online teaching with a short period of in-person teaching in order to create opportunities for students attending any of the CIVIS member universities who are interested in international studies. Courses design and taught by experts from Global Awareness Education in partnership with other CIVIS universities include: Global Migration on the Ground and Democratic Memories in Global Perspective.
