The beginning of your studies will be an exciting and challenging time. We will guide and support your first steps at the beginning of your studies. This special website provides you with general information about the university's and the department's resources and services for all new students in the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) English.
You have questions about the study program and your course work, especially the obligatory courses in the first semester? You want to get into contact with other beginners in the B.Ed. English? We will gladly support you and address your most pressing questions. This website will give you an insight into the structure of our study program and offers general guidelines for your course selection in the first semester.

Info Meetings for New Students

| What? | To get to know each other and to address all of your questions, we offer a combination of online and in-person counselling. There will be an online info meeting and an info meeting in person. Both have the same contents, there is absolutely no difference!
It is essential that you consult our information package including the Starter Kit on this website before you attend any info meeting. Our meetings are primarily intended to give you a forum for asking questions rather than giving too much input. All you need to know will be available in preparation for the info meetings way ahead of time. So, please consult the Starter Kit and join the Starter Lounge (available from mid September, 2024 onwards) on Moodle. Need help right now? Please contact the Helpdesk of the English Department via e-mail for immediate aid. |
