On 8th July 2025, Jinjin (Kimie) Zhang, a Ph.D. Candidate from the Chinese University of Hong Kong will hold the first research talk of the Emmy-Noether Research Group “The Japanese Alpine Empire”. The talk is entitled “Local Fandom: Can Digital Technology Revitalise Shrinking Communities in Mountainous Japan?”.
