Nahuel Depino-Besada and Timo Sohl presented their new research at the SMS Special Conference, “Stakeholder Governance: New Implications for Organizations and Society.” Their paper employs a difference-in-differences model to study how stakeholder pressures regarding non-financial performance affect firms through their supply chain linkages. At the conference, Edward Freeman—the founder of stakeholder theory—delivered a keynote speech. We will incorporate the insights and recent debates from the event into our teaching for the Bachelor course Corporate Sustainability Strategy (B370).

We are happy to announce that Dr. Nahuel Depino-Besada has joined our team as a Postdoctoral Researcher! Dr. Depino's research examines topics around Sustainability & Strategy and has been featured in journals like Group and Organization Management. Starting this Summer Semester 2026, he will be teaching the Corporate Sustainability Strategy (B.Sc.) tutorials.
