Lectures: ZHANG Baichun and TIAN Miao, "邓玉函和汤若望在中欧科学技术交流中的角色"

On Tue, 2 Jul 2024, Professors ZHANG Baichun and TIAN Miao will talk on the transmission of Western science and technology to early modern China

We are excited to announce an upcoming lecture featuring two distinguished scholars who are visiting us through the Sino-German Mobility Programme, Prof. Zhang Baichun 张柏春, Director of the Research Center for the History of Science and Technology at Nankai University and former Director of the Institute for the History of Natural Sciences, CAS; and Prof. Tian Miao 田淼, Director of the Western Science History Research Center, CAS and the Director of the Center for Comparative Studies on Technological Development in China and the West, CAS.
